A typical acupuncture treatment involves the placement of 2-10 needles. Many people who have never experienced acupuncture are, at first, hesitant to have this kind of treatment. Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a holistic healthcare practice with the intent to return function to all tissues, joints and systems, using a thorough assessment and treatment methodology and hands-on application.

Steph began her post secondary schooling at Miami University in Oxford, OH where she graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Nutrition. Following her undergraduate studies, she completed another four year degree at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton, ON. She graduated with her Masters in Osteopathic Manipulative Science in 2020. She has since opened her own practice in Ontario and now moved to Calgary to begin her new chapter.

In Steph’s treatments she wants to appeal to the nervous system and help calm the body down so that it can work as efficiently as possible. By calming down the nervous system the body can collectively function, both mechanically and physiologically, to create a better balance from the inside out. Her goal is to remove any compensations caused by new or old injuries, habitual postures and stressors, with the entire body in mind.

Steph was born and raised in London, ON, where she began her Osteopathic career. She has always enjoyed being a part of a team and grew up playing sports. Throughout her graduate studies she began coaching group fitness classes where she has been able to apply her understanding of anatomy and mechanics into her work outs and onto the table with her patients. You can often find her working out at F45 (as she will be coaching at F45 Brentwood) or walking her goldendoodle, Leonard. She is excited to explore all the restaurants and activities that Calgary has to offer!
